On March 13, 2022 at the Atwater American Legion Post 375 annual bruch Connor Petersen was recognized as the American Legion District 7 outstanding Eagle Scout. Connor was presented with a certificate of recognition and a check for his outstanding work. District 7 Commander David Manson presented the check and certificate to Connor along with Bill Barbknecht a member of the American Legion’s National Executive Committee.
It should be noted that Connor placed 2nd in the State of Minnesota American Legion outstanding scout competition.
The Atwater American Legion Post partners with the scouting program in Atwater by providing funds and providing opportunities for service to the community.
